- Meeting application CTSP 2018-058 + (I acquire seismological data to image Eart … I acquire seismological data to image Earth's interior and its active deformation, while working closely with geodesists to measure surface deformation accompanying dynamic processes. My focus is on seismic and aseismic deformation in the creation of tectonic and orographic landscapes, and in understanding the surface processes modulating the dynamic and isostatic processes. My students work on seismological data constraining the kinematics of fault rupture leading to topography creation, and numerical models of the faulting and magmatic system responses.
