Extended model description	nwis package provides a set of functions that allows downloading of the National Water Information System (NWIS) for data analysis and visualization. nwis package includes a Basic Model Interface (BMI), which converts the NWIS dataset into a reusable, plug-and-play data component for Community Surface Dynamics Modeling System (CSDMS) modeling framework.
