Welcome to the CSDMS Hydrology Focus Research Group (FRG) page.  The Hydrology FRG is a new research group, sponsored by [http://www.cuahsi.org CUAHSI], the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc.  Our goal is to provide input to the CSDMS Working Groups and to the Executive Committee on how to best represent hydrological processes in the CSDMS.  Another role that the Hydrology FRG will play is to facilitate links to other community hydrologic modeling activities, including those led by CUAHSI.  We welcome your participation in the Hydrology FRG.  Please go [http://csdms.colorado.edu/wiki/index.php/Join_Workinggroup here] to join.  Our first meeting will be held on January 20 and 21, 2009, in Boulder (see Announcements, below).

The first meeting of the Hydrology FRG will be held on January 20-21, 2009, in Boulder. The goals of the meeting will be to begin assessing the hydrologic modeling needs of the CSDMS, to work with CSDMS Executive Committee, Working Groups and Focus Research Groups to determine how these can be met, and to begin coordinating linkages between Hydrology FRG activities and other community efforts such as those at NCAR, USGS, CUAHSI, etc. The meeting is open and you are encouraged to attend. Please contact csdms@colorado.edu for more information. Be sure to check back periodically for more detailed logistical information.
