Syracuse University, New York, United States
Apply before: 30 May 2024

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Syracuse University seeks applicants for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in machine learning applications in hydrology and water quality. The project will involve data-driven modeling and machine learning analysis to: 1) assess the driving factors of hydrological variability in snowmelt partitioning and streamflow responses at watershed scales in the Northeastern U.S, and 2) to characterize the natural and anthropogenic processes that govern coupled water and carbon (e.g., greenhouse gas emission) cycles at various spatiotemporal scales in the U.S. This is a fully funded, full-time, 1-year position (renewable for an additional year pending satisfactory progress).
