Postdoc and PhD opportunities at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities

My group (https://yang.cege.umn.edu/ ) at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities is seeking a motivated postdoc and a graduate student. We have projects related to sediment transport, subsurface transport, and microbe-sediment-fluid interactions. Laboratory experience and background in fluid mechanics or hydrology or microbiology are preferred. Interested applicants are welcome to directly contact Dr. Judy Yang (judyyang@umn.edu).


The University: The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities (UMN, the U of M, or Minnesota) is a public land-grant research university in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. Program/Unit Description: St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is an interdisciplinary fluid mechanics research center, renowned for its fluid mechanics facilities, scientists, and engineers. SAFL has various facilities for fluid mechanics, hydrology, and soil related experiments. SAFL has its own machine shop and engineering staff.
