we are looking for a motivated candidate for a two-years post-doc position at the Institute for Mediterranean Agricultural and Forestry Systems (ISAFOM), National Research Council (CNR), located in Portici (NA), Italy.


In the framework of the EU project BENCHMARKS - Building a European Network for the Characterisation and Harmonisation of Monitoring Approaches for Research and Knowledge on Soils (Banchmark project) - the successful candidate will work on the application of crop-growth and water transport models in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum, also implementing data assimilation techniques.

The candidate will join the multidisciplinary team of the soil hydrology lab at CNR-ISAFOM (https://www.isafom.cnr.it/index.php/it/ ), under the supervision of Dott. Angelo Basile.
