Research Associated (PhD student) in Hydro-Morphodynamic Modelling

We are looking for a motivated research associate (PhD student) in the fields of river ecosystem optimization and sustainable hydraulic engineering. The research work focuses on the numerical and/or physical modeling of hydro-morphodynamic processes (two positions):

The position is in the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental System (IWS) / Dept. of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management of the University of Stuttgart (Germany). German language proficiency is not required, but willingness to learn German is desirable.
