I am attending a Unidata Policy Committee meeting in Boulder Oct 27-28 so would like to split the travel costs with them. I'd prefer not to move hotels, so either stay at the CSDMS hotel or Unidata one (Marriott Residence Inn). Could the travel coordinator please contact me to work out what is best and which costs to request from Unidata and which from CSDMS. +
I am hoping my role leading the Chesapeake Bay Focus Research Group will allow me to be reimbursed for most costs. I am willing to pay an extra ~$52/night to avoid sharing a room. +
I am interested in modeling and since I am here in Boulder, I would like to attend the conference. I am not requested funding for registration unless there are funds left over that are available. +
I can probably scrape together some funds, but technically I am not funded to participate this year. So anything will help. Thanks.

I don't have a current funding source that would pay for this meeting. I wouldn't mind sharing a hotel room, but do not know any possible participants who'd also like to share. +
I have arranged funding for the air fare from the UK, but it would be great if CSDMS is able to support my registration and lodging.

I just want to explain why I request funding for registration/air travel/lodging: I am not currently working in a research lab but in a consulting company, which does not pay for me to participate in the conference. So I would have to support any fees from my personal savings. +

I've agreed to help run a clinic for using CHILD, and James offered to provide travel money. Whatever other support CSDMS can provide would be greatly appreciated, as grant funds are limited, but those funds should be able to cover whatever CSDMS can't provide. +
If financial support is available, that's great. If not, I can pay for at least part of the cost myself +
In case the meeting budget does not allow the participants to have a single room, I can cover the difference. +
